Synthetic Grass Canberra

Are you among the people who love synthetic Grass? Nowadays, most people are inclined to choose artificial grass rather than real grass. People adore synthetic Grass Canberra for its perpetual green hue and low maintenance, but it still requires care to ensure longevity and a consistently pristine appearance. We are here to provide the following tips to keep your turf looking as fantastic as the day it was installed.

Remove Debris Daily

Maintaining your turf’s excellent condition is straightforward. Clear its surface of debris like leaves, twigs or other items daily. A quick hand-pick session for just a few minutes proves to be one of the simplest methods for artificial turf upkeep. Leaving such debris unattended for extended periods might lead to matted turf blades or clogged drainage, ultimately reducing your turf’s lifespan.

Cross Brush The Turf-Blades

Regardless of the turf’s durability, continuous use and foot traffic will inevitably cause some matting over time. It’s recommended to cross-brush your turf every month to counteract this. It will help to prevent long-term damage to the blades. Always opt for a brush or broom with synthetic bristles, and avoid any with metal prongs when cross-brushing.

Top Up Infill

Infill is crucial as a protective barrier for your turf backing and fibres. It’s essential to replenish infill levels over months and years to ensure continuous protection. We recommend adding infill seasonally to maintain an optimal level. It helps to safeguard the turf’s backing and prevent tears. This practice extends the lifespan of your synthetic turf lawn.

Remove Pet Waste Often

Allow solid waste to dry before removal to prevent a larger mess for optimal results. In the case of liquid waste, most turf drains well, but there may be a lingering smell depending on consistent spot use.

Avoid Reflecting Surfaces

Kindly note that outdoor mirrors, mirrored walls, reflective and shiny surfaces, and energy-efficient windows can negatively impact our surfaces. Therefore, they are not recommended for use in any project where synthetic Grass is laid. Any warranty from your buying companies will not cover any damage caused by such items.

Keep Away The Heat Sources

Please note that barbecues and other heat-generating items should not be directly placed on the artificial lawn, as the intense heat can result in Grass burning. It is recommended to practice placing BBQs on a patio instead.
